Hi all! Have you ever watched Promise Phan or Michelle Phan make up tutorial videos on Youtube? I think they are awesome! I just tried it myself and this is the results (with help from the above tutorial ;p). Hope you guys will try too!

My photos after the makeup trial. Haha! My dad's computer is stupid. I applied a very think make up but I didn't see it on the computer, so I applied more. Below are the results! I looked like a clown! Haha... but later I reduced the blush color on my cheeks ;)

Assalamualaikum... Hi... Apa khabar? It's Saturday evening and even though I spent this whole morning sleeping, I'm really glad I've finished most of the tasks that I'd planned for today like fetched lil sister from school, did laundry, cleaned the house & cooking. So yeay! Hehe... :)

I'm getting married by the end of this year, Insyaallah...

My mom initially wanted to take Qareezma Design a.k.a Elwai (my big brother's wed consultant) as my wedding consultant but I said I wanted to do it all by myself. Tak sedar masa tak cukup semua. Haha...

So here's the story of my "estimated-two weeks-wedding journey" before I finally decided to take Qareezma Design. Why is it called Wedding Journey? That's because I actually dragged my legs to many bridal boutiques around KL, where my mom had to follow and helped me to decide. The results: NONE!

Mak ku bercita rasa tinggi yea... She wants Hatta Dolmat! She kept comparing all the dresses in the boutiques to Hatta Dolmat's. Haha... mana boleh macam tu.. Tak dapat la... I'd earlier called Hatta Dolmat and asked about the pricing and all. RM5000 harga untuk tempah jahit baju Nikah (tidak termasuk kain). Baju nikah yea tuan2 puan2...bukan wedding dress. Wow... kalau saya jutawan nak la jugak.. but maybe soon! By the way, Hatta Dolmat sounded really nice on the phone especially that I had his cute face pictured on my mind that time. Haha! ;p

Please tell me how can I not like Hatta Dolmat's design? It's freaking GORGEOUS!

Finally, my mom and I found this one boutique in Ampang Park that had absolutely gorgeous wedding dresses! Really! I felt like wanna buy them right then and there! The prices were not so bad with that very good quality... RM2800 and above.

MURAH?? cakap macam orang kaya je kan... haha! But since I'm not that rich YET!, I decided to find another alternatives. I initially planned to make my own wedding dress and just send it to tailor but then again I'll have to deal with lotsa things when I don't have that much time.

Baju kat Ampang Park tu lebih kurang macam ni.Cantik kan? rm2800...Harga pun cantik kan?Haha...

So that time, my check list was all a blank sheet!Except for photographer, I've booked Mazelensa which I think is Amazing! Hehe... :)

By the end of the day, my mom already got tired with all the wedding dress and catering hunting so she told me that she's going to meet Lutfi from Qareezma Design. I was like Okay... So the next day, there we were in Qareezma Design office in Wangsa Maju, very near to my office. Boleh jalan kaki. huhu..

All I can say is Qareezma Design may just have evolved/ changed a lot since my brother's wedding 3years ago. What I like most about them is they will make a new wedding dress & according the design that I want! Kain nanti kitorg pilih sendiri kat Jakel. YEAY!!! Baju nikah pun nanti diorang jahitkan free! Lutfi pun sangat tak berkira okay... Sabar jela my mom mintak itu ini...haha!

So here's the design that I would like to have for my wedding dress.

Di bawah adalah contoh-contoh Pelamin dan meja pengantin di Qareezma Design/ Elwai. Semua bunga hidup yea...yeay! However, I do have some ideas to be added on the Pelamin design so hopefully it'll look better. ;)

I think there should be an award for the word "hypocrite" as it seems to be the most frequently used word by Malays. As I'm a Malay, that's what I see.

It was about 10years ago when I was fourteen had I encountered and familiarized myself with the word "hypocrite". Magazines and newspapers would feature some celebrities or "randomly picked teenagers for some meaningless column just so to meet the number of pages required". Every single time had I read the columns, the featured personalities would then picked "hypocrite" as the most disgusted loathed trait. I just didn't really understand the word.

Since then, the word hypocrite has gained its popularity and even more now.

In my little world, NO ONE wants to be a hypocrite. They would do anything not to be one. Their lives depend on it. Everyone's life is valued by that, at least that's what they think. They eat, talk, shit and sleep with anti-hypocrite ware switched ON. Like a detainee in their own kingdoms, they confused. They think they are free but a kingdom is just a kingdom, not the world. I'm not excluded.

Now I'm not fourteen anymore. I don't just swallow what ever people shove into my brain.

I dare to question. I dare to dare.

They have misused the word hypocrite!

They say:

If you are shy, you are either naive/ pretending!

If you don't curse you are not free.

If you be nice, please stop acting!

If you talk politely, damn you are hypocrite!

They think:

If you laugh and talk loudly, you rule!

If you proud of doing bad things, you're good.

If you go against the world, you are a free man. (erm..maybe.haha)

If you wear less, you are cooler.

This is what the word hypocrite means now. It means the exact opposite to shyness. It means you are bad, I'm good! Again, I'm not excluded.

What's funny in a weird way...

Hellios, everybody.. anybody... ECHO..!

Yeah, I'm damn bored. I've been wanting to write this post a few days ago but if I was not too busy, I was lazy; spending my time on the couch watching tv, changing channel and hating it. LOL...(sorry if it's not funny).

I was planning on writing something informative but since I didn't jot down my thoughts and with my brain only the size of peanuts, I could not remember. So, yeah honey pies...this will be another lame but I hope still-funny-post from me.

I've been wondering over some issues that I thought were kinda ridiculous. Lemme tell you what are they.

1# Funny/ Weird:

Beyonce's alter ego is Sasha Fierce. I really don't understand why on earth would Beyonce need an alter ego that looks and acts exactly like her real self. Both like gold colored clothings, blings, fabulousity, and sky touching high confidence. I'm just thinking that if you wanna create an alter ego wouldn't it better when it is out of the world & totally the opposite of the real you? So that you will bring something new to the audiences.

To compare this with Sacha Baron Cohen's alter egos, it'd be a laughing matter. Sacha's alter egos are all bout laugh anyway...

Bruno - A gay fashion reporter from Austria.

2# Funny/ Weird:

I heard this one on the radio when Miley Cyrus said that her mom sang unbelievably terrible that should stop right away. Wow, I was about to say the same thing to Miley. LOL. So, I vote this one as funny!

3# Funny/ Weird:

Can someone tell me how can Cougar Town, Glee and Two and A Half Man be better than the super awesome How I Met Your Mother? I mean, seriously. Huda, I thought we were humour-soul mate-made in heaven! You betrayed me honeypie. I'll eat you now. Burrpp...

P/S: Glee: reminds me of myself back in school.

Sleeping Beauty

Yeah, I definitely feel like a "just-woke up-sleeping-beauty". Just skip the word beauty if you disagree, not that I care...or do I? Hehe.. I haven't been updating this blog for almost two months now which is equivalent to two years in blogging world which explains the post title: "Sleeping Beauty"...You can see the connection, can't you?

So, I've been busy with works this couple of months. I had a two-weeks training in Bangkok which was AwEsOmE (please imitate jim carey's voice) coz I met some great & friendly people. Then we had a big client came to the lab so it was kinda busy and now we have tonnes of works still. I'm very grateful but I think I'm now living a routine life & for that, I only have myself to blame.

Today I'm not going to complain bout my routine life but I'm going to share a bit bout my AwEsOmE training in Bangkok. Basically, I'd made some new friends, the hotel room was very nice and I went to the town for shopping even though I initially reluctant to go due to the previous chaos erupted in Bangkok.

I loved it in Bangkok. Thailand people were very nice and soft-spoken, my friends there were all funny especially Bob (He acted & sounded like Andrew Zimmerm! Seriously...) I laughed and smiled almost all the time, even during class coz the trainer, Nathan Hutchinson was really cute.

Bob & Bruce were wondering why Asian girls (or guys in that case) tend to put up "peace" sign every time posing for the camera. I said it's simply because we didn't know how to pose like a model. Thus, here as seen in picture above is them trying to give us some tips on how to give creative poses.

Panot was being super nice to accompany the three of us to Bangkok's shopping malls and flee market. It was really fun! I also took some pics at the market.

Haha...sempat ambil gambar abang hensem berbaju hijau lagi...;) & I loved the pink taxis! Tuktuk (motorbike taxi) tak sempat nak naik.

I was lucky to have a happy-go-lucky girl classmate, Nie, during the training. She was a genius. Bob often said to me in the lab: "Mulan (Nie) is creating a Frankenstein" or "She's a rocket engineer".

P/S: When you are an engineer, you complain bout how tiring and time-consuming your life is; you wish you were a doorman. If you were a doorman, you'd complain how boring & tiring your life is.
Does this make any sense to you?

Bila tak kenal diri sendiri

It happened this morning, such an annoying scene that greeted and ruined my day (cheh, over giler...;)

Ok, I'm not poetic and I'm suck in it so just cut the craps and get down to business. This should be a story with positive lesson but since I'm feeling bimbo today & for a dramatic effect, let me first change into my alter ego, Ms. Joyah Kepoh ;)

Joyah = Leighton Meester ;)

Pagi tadi masa nak sarapan, Joyah menonton MHI kat TV3. Pengacaranya ialah Wardina & "John Doe". Mula-mula tengok, Joyah masih rasa ok lagi walaupun tau mamat ni memang sangat skema & lebih sesuai jadi guru Bahasa Melayu di sekolah sebab dia asyik nak betulkan tatabahasa orang aje. Makin lama Joyah tengok, makin pelik pulak jadinya. John Doe bercakap tanpa henti, potong semasa sedang Wardina bercakap dan asyik nak menang saja. Di bawah adalah senarai benda annoying yang John Doe telah lakukan semasa mengacara MHI pagi tadi.

Urghh #1:

Pembuka kata yang membosankan:

"Selamat pagi semua, semoga dalam kesibukan ke tempat kerja ini anda tidak menjadikan diri anda hamba cermin. Kerana jika menjadi hamba cermin, anda akan........(isi tempat kosong).... Jika cermin itu mempunyai perasaan ia mungkin akan memecahkan dirinya."

I was like: " Err...are you kidding me? Urghhhh...!"

Urghhh #2:

Bila Wardina sebut mengenai pelacur, die betulkan jadi "andurmuda-ke-wateva-la" (dah cuba cari sama maksud pelacur kat internet tapi gagal). Hebat dowh John Doe...dia pun nampak sangat bangga.

Seriously, I didn't even care about the andurmuda thing. It distracted my focus from the main topic & John Doe always acted as if he was the best.

Urghhh #3:

Sedang sibuk John Doe bercakap mengenai isu macam-macam, Wardina pun cakap:

"Zaman moden ni banyak sangat perlu dipelajari sampai kadang-kadang kita lupa untuk menilai & mengenali diri sendiri"

Kena batang hidung Joyah, John Doe & seangkatan...;p

Mungkin ayat John Doe tak la teruk sangat tapi cara dia yang buatkan Joyah dan ramai orang rasa tak senang duduk. Atau mungkin Joyah sangat bosan hari ini lalu menjadi kejam...Wakaka!

Joyah gedik jugak cuma nasib baik Joyah bukan artis. Ok, sekarang Joyah nak pergi bertaubat.

Being in love is not as what I expected it to be (when I was younger) especially when you are in a serious relationship. It's not too much if I say that being in relationship is like doing business. More like Flintstone's version of business though; Barter System. You have to learn to give and take.

In a love relationship you have to be patient, understanding, and respectful. It is also important for you to be aware of your surroundings and teach yourself to think so then you'll have the idea to initiate conversation and keep the relationship upbeat and fresh.

I once hated when Feizal asked me, "What's the latest book that you read?

I'd be like, "Duh, there it goes again". Monologue.

Now I understand why he talks bout books & important issues when we hang out together. This is because when we don't have interesting things to say, we will tend to talk about other people. Gossips as you know it contributes more on the negatives rather than the positives.

"Great people talk bout ideas, low people talk about people", this is what Feizal keeps telling me.

I believe in the statement that says, "We are what we read".
We can see the different between people who read Mastika and Discovery Channel.
Mastika used to be a magazine with meaningful information and great writing back then. But it was long time ago before I learned my ABC and all the current Misteri-Mayat-Bini-Curang-Blackmetal keywords started to take over the magazine. At least that's what Feizal told me. Yeah, I have my own life-size & moving information counter ;)

In reading or discussing something, the topic of discussion can be anything but the content is what determine the whole thing. If you are a great writer/ communicator, you can make a stupid topic sounds brilliant. You can make a serious matter become a laughable scene. I love it like that. I also find that reading and discussion help to improve my communication skills & relationship with other people. I dunno if the whole things I discuss in here have anything to do with the title but at least I'm writing something today. Have a great day...

It's a beautiful morning here so go push your heavy lazy ass off the bed now and do something meaningful like reading a newspaper... or my blog, or not.

Maaf. Mengarut di pagi yang indah memang seronok, otak masih mamai. Mood yang sesuai untuk baca surat khabar rakyat yakni Harian Metro. Serius... banyak yang boleh kita ketahui dari Harian Metro.

Jika anda nak tahu apa yang terjadi kepada Mak Joyah sebelah rumah yang selalu bergaduh dengan suami atau anak kecil yang menjerit dan menangis didera di tingkat bawah umah anda selama ini tapi anda buat dunno.. Bacalah di Metro. Mungkin meraka sudah KO. Insensitive? Tell me bout it.

Dua hari lepas aku ada baca beberapa berita menarik di Metro (sebenarnya baca tiap-tiap hari). Yea, orang selalu buat tanggapan negatif terhadap Metro walaupun sebelum mereka membacanya. Jadi, mari kita tinjau apa yang menarik di Metro minggu ini & sebelum bersama Zuliana Abu Kashim.

Berita pertama ialah mengenai seorang janda yang ditipu hampir rm100 ribu oleh teman lelaki warga Afrikanya. Taktik biasa macam nak seludup dadah, lelaki itu mendakwa dirinya seorang pelajar di universiti tempatan dan mereka pertama kali jumpa di shopping mall. Wanita itu telah memberikan segalanya kepada lelaki itu termasuk diri dan duit simpanan utuk pelajaran anak-anaknya yang bernilai hampir rm100 ribu. Duh, atleast now I know that the woman loved the nigga more than her own children. Ok, moving on...

Berita kedua mengenai seorang budak 15 tahun yang berkeras nak kawin dengan teman lelaki yang berusia 19 tahun. Remaja perempuan itu yang merupakan pelajar terbaik negeri UPSR telah melarikan diri dari rumah & tinggal bersama keluarga lelaki itu. Siap pergi pejabat polis semua. Cold giler that girl! Sian mak dia sampai pengsan-pengsan nak peluk anak kesayangan yang digendong ke ladang getah ketika kecil tetapi sekarang anak dia buat muka benci. That girl was the family's hope to break out of poverty but now that this thing happenned what do you think is going to happen next? Teman lelakinya berkata, "sekarang situasi menang-menang".

Waklu menang-menang! Ko dapat kawin dengan that girl, janji nak bagi dia sekolah. Cakap...

Wanna know what will happen the next 3 years?

Lelaki tu gaji tak banyak & malas tetapi bilangan anak dah bertambah. Jadi perempuan tu pun kena la berhenti sekolah & keje untuk beli susu anak. Duit lelaki dilaburkan ke perempuan lain/ todi/ ganja. Perempuan & anak kena dera, lari rumah emak. Mak ko yang dah tua tu gak yang kena keje tolong tanggung ko lagi. Me being negative? It just reality & I've seen it happened before.

Hi, all Homosapiens! I hope at least one of u still exist here. Or not.

Macam aku dowh!

Today I'm going to strip myself open. Inside. Why? Mainly because I'm damn bored waiting for others to update their blogs so I could have a good laugh. Sounds like a loser to you? It does to me.

By the way, I'm writing this post because I "finally" realize how rarely do I write on this blog. Instead, I prefer to wander and leave a comment or two at other blogs. Haha..sometimes the shits I left on others' blogs are even longer than my own post.

Feizal said it's because I'm afraid of critics, that's why I rarely write on my own blog. In the end, just for the sake of writing something for that month & not letting myself sleep at 9pm, I'd write something that I don't really like/ some easy lame pieces that others already know.

Feizal was right.. I'm such an insecure person. I do not mind leaving long comments on others' blogs because I dun give a damn if people judge me there because it's not my piece of work. There is an advantage of that as it allows me to open up and say want ever I have on my mind. While blog to me is a piece of work: leisure or serious matter, both counted.

I also have the tendency/ obsession to change my post title, pictures and contents a few times so people will understand what I'm saying. Then, after I published the post, I would read it again often it'd come with grammar mistakes. Haha...wateva.

I'm not afraid of you, ya monsters! ;p

Yea, so that is the reason why I rarely write on this blog besides of my crawling-to-bed time at 9pm. Not that you care...;) Thank you for reading.

America's Next Top Models stupid lame actings!

It was a few weeks ago & I was getting ready to go to work I saw something on TV. It was the i-guess-new America's Next Top Models! Oh, yea I love that show. I love to see all the beautiful girls & the "reality show" because somehow I'd try to related what happen on the show with my life, myself ;p

However to my horror, at one part I saw all the girls reading a message from Tyra. Out loud: TO-GET-HER! It's really like 1st graders OK... Damn, it was disturbing to see some grown ups to do the same thing. It was not cute/ charming. Nope.

I could even see some of the girls felt like being forced to do that. They tried their best not to smile from ear-to-ear like the rest. Faking of excitement is what it is..

In this new show, we can also see all the girls act like they are entering some cheer leading competition. They would jump and scream excitedly over everything! Seriously! I don't know if this is a new trick/ gimmick to attract people attentions, bad or good as long as they watch it. Shame to admit, it works on me. LOL. I still hate the lame acting, YES. It just my butt is glued to the couch already... eyes glued to the TV only to find other freaking ridiculous things out of ANTM. Yeah, we know you were the man Tyra. Too bad too much faking is not going to keep me watch it any longer. ;)

Pisau Cukur Trailer

Oh, malasnya nak menulis.. But I have to, coz it's like the only way to activate my brain cells *literally*.

Ok, yesterday I watched Pisau Cukur on Astro BoxOffice and as we all know, astro will play each of its movies for more than just a couple of times and almost everytime they replayed Pisau Cukur, my mom, lil sis and I would sit and watch it. Why? It's damn funny! That's why..

Maya Karin and Fazura both look stunning in that movie. All the actors played their parts really well, the storyline is excellently structured and the script is full of humor and very spontaneous. It's so giddy it makes you feel happy just to watch it.

We especially love Rafidah 3R who acted as receptionist in that movie. She is great! Very sarcastic and really looked like an annoyed and bored spa worker. Ayat dia memang best... Too bad I could not upload Rafidah's part. So tengok la yea, kat BoxOffice 952 ;)

P/S: I wish I'm a better writer. Kalau blog obefiend, post ni layak masuk Blog Serius je.. Metroll pun tak layak. Takpe... I'll write better post next time ;)

Lesson Learned: Be Sensitive? Ermm..

It has been quite sometimes since my last post. I had so much to share yet too lazy to write them down. Now that I finally have the time and strength to force my fingers dancing on the computer keyboard, I'm not wasting any time.

This week I've learned some very valuable lessons.

Lesson: Be Sensitive.

Ceritanya begini... Last Friday I was bored to doom coz there was nothing to do at work since the replacement for the broken machines had not arrived yet. So, after cleaning the lab and finished a simple test, I went online, open my Facebook and start commenting at others' status...

I then saw 33 comments at my cousin Kina's status. It says something about hijab & the comments were actually a matured debate between Kina and a guy named Khabs.

Khabs believes that hijab is only compulsory for prophet Muhammad's wives and not for other Muslim women. He also says it is stated in Quran that women should cover their private parts; thus means private parts only. He says Al-Quran is complete you should not need Sunnah/ Hadis and if you believe in Sunnah and Hadis, it means you believe that Al-Quran is incomplete.

Based on his writing (he sometimes wrote in Malay) I firstly thought he was a muslim, which he's actually not. So, me being the Bimbo of the day, jokingly & sarcastically posted a comment on the status:

Wow. i can run naked down the road tomorrow morning, babe! Jogging to work while wearing only some leaves to cover my boobies & tutt... Then start a great naked day at work!

I wont be distracting anyone from doing their jobs.. They are not interested in that juggling things when they can see it, they would not wanna touch it.. The guys are more interested in covered girls, so if we become a nudist, it'd be more likely that guys wont touch me. Cool!

MEN...I know u r imagining what I just said. So screw you when you said "let the girls do whatever they what". Coz u dunno us & most of the time u guys r just speaking for you own benefits. I'm no good but I aint your bitch....
Hahahahaha...Aku... Emo... Echo... errrrrrr......dang

I honestly thought this was funny. A bit nasty in the end maybe. But you see, me being surrounded by people who can make fun of themselves, pull prank and provoke people while not being afraid of negative feedbacks had created BIMBOME. Thus, I tried to do the same without considering that this guy is not in my circle of connection thus he could not take my comment. It ended by him calling me a tin kosong, budak hingusan yang masih menetek kat mak, muntah sana-sini and he said I must must be 13. I said i was 5...haha! ;p

Thus, the morals of the story are:

1) Ones should be resistive enough towards negative comments and trolls if they wish to post something in public, online, and open. What do you expect from something so global and open? If you encounter someone like me and wish to shut her up, say it nicely or do it sarcastically and spicy. Atleast these would work. (Especially when she is not even talking to you)

2) I should be more sensitive:

People neither think the same way nor are they necessarily in the same mood as I at certain time. So, whenever I do something that might hurt somebody, I should apologize. Which I did in the above case but he called me "orang kurang ajar berak keluar mulut".

I've learned my lesson..;)

Khabs may be a good guy, it just that we happened to bump into each other at the wrong time / attitude. I'm sorry for that.

Friends from "Old School"

These are my friends from secondary school. Primary 6 to be exact. I was a nerd, weird new kid that time at SKBTHO (totally opposite from how I used to be in my previous school: gedik, berani etc ;)

The time at SKBTHO passed faster than I could remember living it. The students and teacher were nice, I had a good time but it was in Form 1 when I really bonded with some of the girls:

Adibah Zakaria, Nabila Zahin and Hazlin Othman.

These girls were very nice and supportive eventhough I was not the most mentally-stabled-person in the world, I was glad they were there as my best friends.

In the group of four, I was closer to Adibah while Nabila with Hazlin. I guess I was/am like that. Always stick to only one person at a time (I ain't proud of it yo...) Plus, Adibah also joined Taekwondo club with me. Adib black belt woo... I never took the black belt test, malas... hehe..;p

When we were in Form 4 and each of us had moved to other schools, we would still meet up during school holidays together with Wanie (Oh, I miss you too sweetheart ;)

Time passed by, again as always. I rarely contacted them and they might also felt the distance. No more annual gathering with the four girls except for Hari Raya. Maybe sometimes they did but without me.

They asked "Zu, ko kat mana? Lama gila tak dengar citer..."

Since I had already moved to other neighbourhood that was not so close to theirs, I rarely met them. That's an excuse, I'm sorry.

They are very nice girls and they always make me smile and laugh. Last Hari Raya I joined them with some others at 6 Raya reunion at Najhi's house. It was great and exciting to see those small kids are now grown-ups and even one of our friends already got married ;)

Nyum nyum... memang sedap...hehe..

I love my girls, thus I should put more effort.

Aku ingat lagi masa kecik dulu aku selalu buli budak kecik sorang ni. Dia dulu sangat kecil & comel. Masa dia darjah 5 pun orang ingatkan dia darjah 1. Walaupun dia budak paling kecil dalam kelas tapi setiap tahun pun akan jadi ketua kelas. Ntah...Mungkin sebab muka die yang sangat suci murni masa tu walaupun sebenarnya nakal jugak.

Masa kecik, bila abang dan aku bermain, dia mesti nak join & janji kalau kalah dia tak akan menangis. Tapi dia mesti nangis. Aku dan abang gelak aja...;)

Masa kecik, bila demam dia akan selalu mengigau Kacang Besar/ Selimut Besar kejar dia. Mata dah terbukak besar pun dia still mengigau, jadi abang izam & aku selalu la main2 kan dia. Sekarang dah tak lagi... Dia dah besar.

Masa baby, muka dia bulat macam guli. Kitorang suka letak dia dalam bakul merah satu ni sebab dia nampak comel begitu macam buah-buahan (tembikai).

Walaupun aku sangat garang dengan dia masa kecik dulu, dia pernah juga tulis karangan tentang aku masa darjah 2 “Kakak Saya”:

“Kakak saya sangat pandai. Saya mahu jadi macam kakak saya”, Aku sangat terharu.

Sekarang budak yang aku panggil Mioi (Amirul) dulu sudah besar. Dia jadi lebih baik daripada karangan yang pernah dia tulis masa kecik dulu. Lebih dari aku (hopefully).

Kini Mioi adalah teman aku sneak out tengah malam... (I hate it, I’m 24 this year man... cut me some slack! Hehe..)

Teman aku pergi Uptown untuk perasan UP. Teman panjat pagar kondo tengah malam masa takde orang untuk buat diri aku rasa seperti gangster. Teman aku pakai baju comot & buat lawak bodoh yang mungkin orang lain tak faham. Teman aku & shezlin main gelongsor kat kolam budak kecik malam-malam dan berangan macam kat Sunway Lagoon.

Dia teman aku bila aku takde teman. Aku harap dia dapat pergi Jerman walaupun aku rasa berat... Now I sound like a pathetic with no friends. Lol..;p

Aku harap dia akan berjaya dan menjadi insan berguna. We miss you.

Mamat Bangla & Malaysian School Girl.

This thing happened 9 years ago when I was in Form 3. My classmates and I were on our way back from Perpustakaan Negara (PMR’s compulsory project). We were waiting for the rain to stop in front of a shopping mall in KL when suddenly a mamat Bangla came approaching us. He gave a piece of folded newspaper to Nabila (my close friend) and asked her hand for marriage.

Damn that guy. Baru jumpe boleh pulak cakap macam tu. Kat budak sekolah pulak tu… No wonder why there are many Malaysian school girls went eloped with Mamat Indon, Bangla etc. Because of this kinda thing!

Thank god we had brains and absolutely not desperate. Nabila was not comfortable so I scolded that guy by telling him that I’m Nabby’s big sister (not that he would have believe it). That Mamat Bangla was still tailing us and ogled Nabby from afar.

I wished Nadia, Nabby’s cool twin sister were there. We should have called a police but still had some pity on that desperate-to-get-a-permit guy. Some of my friends said not to open the folded paper as they afraid it may contained some jampi thingy… Hehe… so we didn’t. I still wonder what was inside the folded paper or it was just a piece of paper with his name and contact number on it. Maybe he was just trying his luck hitting on Malaysian school girls. Who knows if he was lucky enough, he would have a Malaysian girl as wife but failed to get green card, dumped the wife and went back to Bangla. Wahaha…

Also, I’m going to rebuild my blog this weekend coz it looks so boring. I’m going to dress it up nicely, prettily ;)

The Awesomeness of the Old Dogs

Ok, I'll just do a brief & quick review on this since I'm now at work.

Last week, Teha brought Apai, Awein and I to the screening of Old Dogs (on free tickets from Karangkraf). It was fun. The movie was damn awesome! I laughed my heart out until I could hardly breathe. Serious!

“Hahahaha!!! Oh, I can’t breathe…. My jaws might as well dislocate….. Damn”

In fact, I’d still laugh if I had a recap of that movie on my mind now. HAHA…

So go watch it! Sangat sangat sangat BEST! Ok, I will write a proper post sooner = Tomorrow.

So yea, memang aku mudah terpengaruh dengan drama/ movie. Aku selalu berangan-angan dan mengaitkan hidup aku dengan movie yang aku tengok. My girlfriends know well how I love to create bubbles of fairytales around me...;)

Sejak akhir-akhir ini, disebabkan penggunaan otak di tahap yang sangat minimum, aku mula jadi pelupa. Macam tak cukup huru-hara hidup aku yang kelam kabut ni. Tapi sekarang dalam proses recovery. Hehe...

Talking about senile, have you ever watched “A moment to remember”- Korean movie? (Ade orang ke baca blog ni? haha…) Anyway, it’s about a beautiful but troubled lady who initially wanted to elope with her lover who was somebody else’s husband. However, her married lover never showed up as planned because he could not leave his wife. The broken hearted lady came back to her family and started a new better life. She later met a super macho construction worker, fell in love and they got married. The guy later became a successful architect and the girl went senile. The End. (hehe..sila tonton sendiri)

It’s a very sweet story that makes girls go Auwww…. Because her husband is super sweet…;-) seperti yang ku inginkan...bubble bubble...

Oleh itu, aku nak menulis novel pendek berdasarkan hidup aku baru-baru ni. Jadi, jika anda rajin boleh la bersama-sama baca di bawah:

Senile but Sweet:

It was our first meeting since he got back from Johor. I love the view that night, the view you are expected to see when go out in KL after Maghreb. Full of lights, especially now that Christmas was just around the corner. We walked hand-in-hand in the mall, didn’t know exactly what to do but kept walking until our feet hurt. I wanted to draw some cash, so we went to the nearest ATM machine. Suddenly, I couldn’t get my card out of the ATM machine. I with no permit dismissed all the people who queued behind me by declaring the machine just swallowed my card. I called Haikal who was standing a few feet away out load. He walked calmly towards me who obviously was in a very critical level of ‘kabutness’.

“I can’t get my card of this stupid machine…” I said.
“You already took the money?” asked Haikal.
“Yes, only the card stuck in this machine” I said.
“Erm… Isn’t the card supposed to come out first, then the money?” said Haikal as if he already used to this kind of situation ‘with me’…

I bite my lip as I realized that I already put my ATM card safely in my wallet. (Huhu… memang kecoh!)

Later that night, I once again forgot to take my parking card out of its machine. I felt so senile and sengal thus I distanced myself away from Haikal and told him that he should stay away from a senile girl like me. Haikal held my hand tight instead, didn’t want to let me go despites my continuous resistance. I loved it. Him.

Senile with Friend:

I received his message right after I got out of my office. It was 5.35 pm and he wanted to meet. It has been a long time since the last we saw of each other. I drove my car to the place we both had agreed on. Tesco. I parked at the easiest-to-be-seen parking lot next to Tesco. Iskandar told me he had already arrived but I could not see him anywhere nearby. My cellphone was already out of battery so I went to the nearest public phone to call Iskandar.

“Hey, I’m at Tesco already. Where are you?” I asked.
“I’m at Tesco too but I can’t see you,” said Iskandar.
“I’m near the Perodua building,” I said.
“Hey, that’s not Tesco… That’s Giant. It’s ok, I go there to you,” said Iskandar.

I bent slightly to my left only to see the BIG word GIANT on the building, behind the phone booth. Now just above my head. Damn… (kesengalan yang ternyata!)

Muka cantik tapi otak tak sampai separuh, itulah istilah Bimbo bagi aku. Aku teringat nak tulis pasal Bimbo ni lepas ternampak gambar Memey kat surat khabar petang tadi. Then I remembered some of her Bimbo acts either on TV or newspaper. I do stupid things also... but I won't call myself a gedik Bimbo..lol...;p

Not long after Memey & Norman Hakim big case, they were seen together in public. Tak salah... bagus juga terus terang bagi hint. So I thought maybe they already planned for the step which is marriage. However to my surprise, Memey said to a newspaper, "Terlalu awal untuk fikir soal kawin". Mungkin sebab Memey rasa die masih muda. (aku gatal nak kawin awal...haha)

Yang aku tak boleh tahan lawak gila ialah bila dalam AC Sempoi, AC Mizal tanya Memey apa yang dia suka pasal Norman Hakim.

Besides giving the old & classic version of answer to that question:
"Dia selalu berfikir ke depan, gentleman, suka tanggungjawab..."

Memey also give a very hot & honest answer:
"Apatah lagi sekarang badan die SEXY sebab die suka makan ayam macam 'Fahrin' gak"

The stupidest answer someone could think of while facing khalwat issue. I can take the case but for me to hear her say that, the only word that popped on my mind was BIMBO. Plus, tak boleh blah nak sama kan Norman Hakim dengan Fahrin. Tak sama ok... Fahrin memang hensem & tough.

Maybe unlike many people that I know, Norman Hakim only go for the looks rather than her hidden brain(not so hidden...haha)

However, as an actress Memey isn't so bad and I personally think she has a potential to go further in this industry but first she must change her BIMBO attitude la...

Scha yang ade gak dalam rancangan AC Sempoi tu memang sangat cantik & sempoi seperti biasa. Saya sangt suka Scha! ;)

‘Yes Man’ me please! - lone ranger in danger.

I need a major change in my life and in order to do that I need to start saying YES.

Before I jump into the ‘Yes Man’ thingy, I first would like to explain the reasons why I need to change and what have caused it. I consider myself a lone ranger and I’m now ashamed to admit that I was proud of it.

During my secondary school, I mingled with everyone but have only one best friend at a certain time (Adibah, Mahzuz, Hazrina and Feizal). If my best friend was absent or moved to other school, I would feel very lonely, scared and insecure. My mind would wander to other places except the place where I really was. I would feel lost and wouldn’t pay much attention to other people or what happened around me. I wasn't living the moment. However, if my best friend was there with me, I would feel safe, at ease, and be the happy-go-lucky side of me that mingled with everyone.
Things got worse when I was studying at Matriculation College; I was always seen walking alone and looking depressed though I never admitted it. I kept telling myself I was happy that way… Indeed, I really talked to myself.

“You are crazy, why are you talking to me?”
“I’m not crazy, I don’t find it wrong talking to myself…”
“It’s not wrong, unless if you are saying it out loud and use ‘YOU & I’ referring to yourself.”

I was not crazy at that time. I chose to be like that. I chose to be the loner, the weirdo and chose to double my identity. I chose to believe the lie that I told myself “I am happy to be alone” which then caused me to build a wall between me and other people, separating us even further.

I was not like that all the time. I was a very active kid during primary school & still active later but my attitude changed in times. I was very girly and gedik in primary, a tomboy in secondary and a weido in matriculation. I was searching for an identity which seemed to be very important to almost all teenagers.

Even though I’m not a loner anymore and already accepted myself as a “unique and happy” person, I have yet another problem to solve, that is my "NO MAN" attitude and it's definitely not "I don't want a man" attitude... but rather a negative response.

I always declined offers to hang out with my friends or go to my cousins’ houses. Sometimes I have solid excuses, sometimes I reall y don’t. I just wanna lepak at home and do nothing. That’s a very bad attitude, I know and I’m not happy about it. That’s why I believe I have to start saying YES so I’ll be a happier person and can experience more things with many people and SHARE THE LOVE...babeh! ;)

P/S: I have watched "YES MAN" like 100 times and never get bored of it! I love Jim Carrey & the cute Zooey Deschanel.

Ok, I supposedly have an interview in Johor this Wednesday but I’m not sure if I’m going or not... I’m not allowed to drive alone to far places & Johor is definitely FAR… Even though my mom is ok about it, my dad still doesn't know about my plan: driving alone.

Huh, I always think that it’s really easy to be a guy… You dun have to worry about all these petty things. You can go wherever and whenever you want and do anything without have to be paranoid about your safety or care what other people might think. Guys can do crazy things & the worst that people will say is just: "Boys.." or "Jerk!". Then people will forget about it. (I can take that)

Girls can do that too… but then they’ll also have to bear the names and glares people will give them which then lead to the 0.1% chance to date the hottest guy at college. Hahahaha… if there is any… (I considered myself lucky because I used to fall for unique/ weird/ misterious guys, not just some good-looking dude...) So how about my bf? Lets not jump into that ;

I’ve always wanted to rollerblading like I used to when I was a kid. However, as you got older, people have higher expectation on how you behave yourselves and such. That means I should be feminine, presentable, soft-spoken, well-dressed and polite which are indeed very good qualities. But if you have to that almost all the time, then it's painful. Immatured me...

Maybe I should wear the monkey mask, riding a BMX & get crazy like in "She's a genius" a video by Jet.

Talking about wild, teringat Naima Mora. Punk hair with soft & cute personality. I really like her like REALLY.... but not in the creepy way. You can see why, can't you?

Saturday Night Out with Katak.

This weekends was fun... Mainly because my lil bro was home & I finally got the reason to go out. Saya perlukan geng yang setia untuk keluar supaya tidak bosan..

So, on Saturday night we went to uptown Danau Kota. All I can say is, there were a lot & lotsa people... I hated the smokers who didn't care less about other people & we (my sis & I) were the ones who had to hold our breaths when they walked next to us. Tolonglah...

I thought I'd be back home empty-handed when I finally saw this pink dress with belt (lupa pakai belt dalam gambar di atas). After that we went lepak at Old Town Danau Kota. Makan2 sambil buat lawak bodoh tak berasas sememangnya menyeronokan. Jam menunjukkan 2.30 pagi, si kecil dah ngantok, kami pun balik...

Erm... looking at my pic above, I'm now agreed the reason my friends call me Katak. Big round bulging eyes... Hurmm..that sounds scary.

Mimpi Pelik "BULU HIDUNG PANJANG"

Tak tau nape aku malas sangat dua tiga hari ni. Nak tulis dalam blog tapi asyik tangguh je, lagipun tak sure nak merepek pasal apa. Semalam, disebabkan kemalasan yg teramat sgt, aku tido kol 9mlm sampai kol 10pagi ni... (sambung lepas solat subuh & masak breakfast jap la)

Pagi tadi aku mimpi pelik gila "BULU HIDUNG MENJADI PANJANG".

(Ok, in that dream, mine was not as gross as this one okay......;)

Masa tu aku ade kat sebuah hotel mewah & baru nak keluar dari kolam renang.
Aku pun amik towel aku untuk keringkan rambut & cover lemak berlebihan yg akan nampak bila pakai baju berenang yg tight... taktik yg biasa aku guna.. (atleast aku sedar diri...huhu..)
Tiba-tiba aku terasa ade bulu yang panjang terkeluar dari hidung aku. Terus aku cover ngan towel & lari cari cermin. Gosh, panjang giler xleh blah!

Yang pelikye, aku tak balik hotel room pun. Instead, aku pegi merayau kat pasar malam sebelah hotel aku untuk cari gunting. Aku pun pakai towel kat kepala mcm pakai purdah (for the obvious reason & supaya tak nampak pelik).

Satu kedai pun x jual gunting, sampai la kat kedai yg last sekali jual perkakas dapur.... Akhirnya aku jumpa gunting & cermin untuk potong bulu hidungku yg panjang & memalukan. (Aku nak potong kat gerai tu gak, maybe sbb tuan punya kedai xde pun kat situ..huhu..)

Tiba-tiba terdengar suara mak aku yang tak berapa nyaring:
"Nana, dah kol bape ni tak bangun2. Baju tak jemur, rumah x vacuum & mop lagi..... semalam dh tido lama.."

Since my mom's office is very near & directly infront of our condo, she can actually see if I already jemur baju/ belum...

Ok, post yang menggelikan & merapu dah pun tamat.... Ok, I wanna go check my nose ;)

'Into the Wild'- life from a different angle.

'Into the Wild' is a 2007 movie directed by Sean Penn & by far to me one of the most beautiful movies ever, in a line with Benjamin Button. 'Into the Wild' is based on the true story about a guy named Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsch), a fresh college graduate who was blessed with a good life but broken family. In the search for the true meaning of happiness, Christopher McCandless left his parents, loving younger sister, wealth and the chance to Harvard for the once in a life time adventure.

'In the Wild' showed me how life is from a different angle, Christopher McCandless neither cared what others might think about him nor was he bounded by the culture which bear to materialistic society. Inspired by books which later turned him into an anti-social, Chris developed the loves for nature but in time also diminished the love for people.

It was winter when Chris arrived in Alaska, two years after he left home. He discovered a magic bus in which he lived for the next 100 days. Chris was really happy for being able to experience the adventure & accomplished his goal to live& survive in Alaska for a few months. It was summer and Chris packed his bag to return to his family and to live normal life. The rivers had already melted by this time and Chris couldn't cross it. He was trapped In the Wild...

Three days ago, I watched 'Into The Wild' as Feizal told me that the movie was great. Yeah, indeed, it really is... I was really shocked to know how the story ended & the fact that it's based on true story.

'Into The Wild' is a very honest & incredible story of a freshly graduated college student named Alex who left his wealthy but broken family, little sister that he loved & normal life that he had. He took what's called the once in a life time adventure; he burnt his money, dumped his old car & then lived in the woods. His ultimate goal was to live & survive alone in Alaska for a 100 days. He was really braved but he took it way too far, until he lost...

Ok, I'll do the movie review on the next post coz now it about the value in the story that I would like to share. I really wanna be free, do what ever You Want without worrying about what other people would think. The might as well think you crazy. but who cares... A lot of people already think I'm crazy sometimes...(erm...really..??)

Or maybe not. I'm not that adventurous anymore... (I used to be..)

I wanna live my life without people keep telling me what I should do & what I shouldn't.

To have love, I have to obey.
To be happy, I then have to suffer.
When alone, there is no love?
When left alone, it is no better.

Why do I have to try really hard to have someone to love me? If the love is sincere, it shouldn't be this hard etc... maybe I can love the nature & hope nature will love me back.

Maybe tomorrow morning I have to start talking to the plants so they'll nourish, at least I know they won't talk back to me... I won't even hoping for that to happen.

Ok, dah mula merapu dah... but yeah, I really wanna fly. I'll love myself if there is no one wanna love me sincerely. I already do..;)

Honey foundation & drag queen newbies.

Gambar di atas dah mandi ok... walaupun gambar kiri atas nampak macam hell... (baru perasan...;p). Yesterday I was so bored so I took the unused Safi honey foundation i knew in my drawer (kedekut nak guna foundation sendiri). Tadaa... here's the result. The honey foundation is too fair for me, it made me looked like a drag queen... macam letak tepung gomak kat muka pun ade...

But in some pics with good illumination, I didn't look so bad (two pics below).

Then my lil sis came back from school & told me I looked funny but still, she asked me to put some make-up on her face. So I did...

We may looked like drag queens but we had fun! really...? ;p

How to start doing charity.

I tried to find the answer from the internet but none is what i'm looking for. Most of them talk about legal charity & funding. I'm not there yet, I should start my baby step first. Then i remembered the story that my mom told me about a lady who opened a charity home for single mom with sick/ disabled children or hospital patients who have no place to go after their treatment.

The lady was a typical housewife but she had a very nice & loving husband who did almost all the works (working, financial, children's edu...) coz he didn't want to burden her.

Until one day her husband suddenly dissapeared. He didn't take any of his personal belongings along with him & no one ever hear a thing from him again. People then assumed that he might be lost & dead.

It was a really tough time she had to go through when all this while she had her husband did almost all the things, except housework, for her. She got herself a job & in the struggling time, she started doing charity. It was while her way out of a hospital when she saw a woman; ex-patient, with a child that had no place to go. She invited the lady to live with her, she didn't think much that time & did according to her instinct.

More single mothers with sick/ disabled children came to live with her. The charity home is now getting bigger as there are increasing number of people in the house as well as donations from public. Mom who read about this lady & the charity home on newspaper also start donating.

Chef Wan & why we (I) love him!

This morning, when I was doing my routine as a "penanam anggur": lazing on the couch kept changing the tv channel... (yeah, the only game that I play is remote control & I'm loving it! Screw PS1,2,3,4...).

I suddenly saw Chef Wan but he was dancing not cooking, quite of a dancer I dare say...haha..but seriously. He certainly & successfully entertained all the people at the charity home (disabled people) as they were all smiling & laughing while dancing along with Chef Wan (moving their hands since most of them were on wheelchairs) with a lot of spontaneous jokes & responses. It was a very nice show: Ole-Ole Chef Wan.

Chef Wan talked with the residents there like:
How are you doing? Are you happy? You look so pretty. Are you married? You wanna marry me?

I smiled to see their shy shy reactions ;) as I would have the same response too... A resident, middle 30-year-old chinese woman said: "Happy la...jumpe Chef Wan... " "Kitorg susah tak boleh jalan, bosan..." It meant a lot to them that Chef Wan came to their home, entertained, cooked, talked, listened & dancing for them. They were dancing too.

I've always wanted to do this kinda charity but never really do it & keep wondering how to start doing it. It's a never ending question which I would like to stop now.

So next post will be on how to start doing charity. Yup, it feels great to see smile of happiness on people faces & you start to realize how grateful you should be for the life you have now.

P/S: I'm not a lazy bum. I clean the house& cook meals everyday... It's an effort towards becoming a better person, so does watching tv... hehe...

Dah lame aku tak tulis dalam blog ni. Bukan aku tak berfikir selama beberapa hari ni tp sbb aku tak tau ape yang patut ditulis. Since I'm now so hot berapi with this 1 guy, so I'm goin to write a real F***'G life story about him entitled: "Lelaki gila anak saudagar penipu". (Bapak die: saudagar tak penipu, saje guna ayat P.Ramlee tp anak die mmg saiko tamak tahap tertinggi babe...)

A few months back, my uncle's bro (bau-bau bacang kitorang) on my mom's side, met my dad & proposed an idea to open a plastic factory together. They initially seek my mom's bro (pak ude) for  financial support bcoz they neither had enough money nor did they able to apply for loan from bank. Pak ude later asked my dad if they can help this old saudagar. Plastic is a good business & helping a relative is a good thing.

Nak dijadikan cerita, my dad gave a big sum of money while old saudagar only had to give the equity from his old company= rm50k & land=rm50k.

It all started like a perfect fairy tales with a written agreement that had been agreed by all (3 directors:my dad, old saudagar, nasir) & what left to do was just to run the business. However, my dad didn't realise the most important thing that would change it all...  Old saudagar brought with him a perfect package of mad greedy son "Lelaki gila anak saudagar penipu" LGASP. Atleast my dad didn't realise he was crazy...

LGASP is a 30 years-old man who yelled at his dad in front of the crowd. He acts like he's the main share holder when all he has is the clerk post that my dad gave after considering old saudagar. Kerani yang xde keje ape tapi gaji rm2500, pastu nak beli keta ofis yg tidak mahal untuk die guna mmg die mengamuk:

"Ayah, saya tak nak guna keta ni! Saya nak keta storm. Tukar!", he said to his dad in front of my dad & crowd...

Like duh....it's not even your dad's money dude... considering that you didn't do nothing but got a paycheck, u shud be thankful.

Last time LGASP marah giler bila dapat tau Lee& Nasir jumpe bapak aku tanpa bagitau die. Die buat tak pe plak. Suka hati bapak aku la.. LGASP jadi bossy giler! Die suke mengamuk so Lee& Nasir agak takut.

Old saudagar: tak bayar gaji pekerja2 (so my dad lagi kene bayar), buat dunno masa nak tukar nama tanah, tak berfikiran panjang & tamak nak instant money that won't get u anywhere,asyik mintak duit itu ini konon2 nak up la..tak boleh blah.

LGASP paksa mintak naik gaji rm4000, kerani yg xde wat ape. ko x rase macam nak mengamuk? Lee & Nasir yg cari projek & buat banyak keje pun tak macam tu.... Kalo aku jadi Lee, hari-hari aku komplen kat aku punya bini "melayu bodo la". Business elok g cari gaduh. Since Old Saudagar refuses to sell his share, I hope my dad find a fierce Chinese buyer yg boleh brainwash LGSAP. I'll work hard & build a better company for my dad (though not now). Dun u worry, daddy... Plus, as u said, money is not the most important thing.

Next episode: "Uncle suruh saya buat ape saje, sujud kat kaki uncle pun saya buat asal uncle maafkan saya",LGASP said.

About my previous post, the one that looked like a poem but not... Haha.. yeah... I've learnt something from that episode which is: "to not make your own assumption without asking /investigate first". On 6th raya, I went to Feizal's open house, it turned up that his phone pad was ragged so it's hard for him to sms. Plus, he has always preferred calls while i prefer sms. This is the pic taken before the open house. I came early bcoz we planned to go for a date later. He was being so nice & sweet... That night after our date, I met his big family at his house & I loved it.

P/S: Guys can be so insensitive/ ignorant sometimes, so instead of hoping & waiting for them to figure want is on our mind, we should just tell them directly. I've known this a long time ago, but I still did what I did.

First of all, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri...maaf zahir batin.

Eid Mubarak this year was just like the other years in the past... lotsa foods... lotsa foods... I kept eating, I ate everything. On the third day of Eid, after came back from my aunt's house, I suddenly felt uneasy.

That's followed by a series of "running to the toilet to vomit" scene. I vomitted everything I ate until the next morning (sorry if now, u feel like vomit). I took panadols, the drugs.

My dad said most probably I have gastrik like him & my bro. I think, this usually happen when I'm period (I was). However, it got worst that day bcoz i drank the carbonated drinks served.

I’ve wanted to write this post since the last 2 weeks but I keep postponing things…but obviously not anymore… Congratulation! ;)

Ok, during Dr. Oz’s last appearance with Dan Buettner on Oprah, they talk about this particular topic: How to life 100 and beyond. Dan Buettner is a freelance writer for National Geographic & spent seven years researching his book The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who've Lived the Longest. As it is mentioned on Oprah.com: “Residents of the blue zones regularly exercise, tend their gardens, are active members of their communities, eat delicious food and even have sex!”

Blue Zone No. 1: Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica

Dan Buettner together with Dr. Oz had to go through a very adventurous journey in order to get there. Nicoya Peninsula is located deep in the rainforest with hundreds of centurions lived there healthily. The secrets are lifestyle & hard water. How so?

1^st: Lifestyle. People in Nicoya Peninsula are poor, they don’t have any food processor, vacuum/ stove etc which left them do all the works manually like in the old times. However, all these are found to be as a good exercise for them. They also eat organically; they just get all the fruits & veges from their backyards… nice!

2^nd: Hard water. The water gained from the nearest waterfall contains higher amount of calcium and magnesium which helps to build strong bones. In Malaysia as well as other developed countries, we usually eliminate the natural minerals in our water before being distributed for daily uses. This is because of its tendency to cause mineral buildup in water pipe and heating systems, and its poor soap and/or detergent performance when compared with soft water. The minerals in hard water react with soap to form a curd.

The most shocking/ great thing is: At Loma Rica, a surgeon, Dr. Ellworth still go into the OR and perform heart surgery at the age of 94-years-old, a vegan, no milk, no eggs, and no insomnia. Not only he looked good, he felt great & happy with his wife!

Editorial & Project Manager? REALLY?

It's 6.30am wednesday & I'm writing this post. I was a chemistry & polymer technology student but looking for other options too… I already went to 2 interviews now: Editorial & Project Manager.

1st interview: Editor at Reed Elsevier: interview + writing test + grammar test. I failed the writing test... despite that, I’m grateful I didn’t get the job coz I realize my English is not that excellent to actually correct the texts written by experts. (Sedar diri…;p) Thus, I’m currently trying to read more books & write on blog in way to improve my English.

2nd interview: Project manager! Let me just summarize this: Great interview but I rejected it. Why?? Coz they actually wanted to recruit sales people… The project manager post is just a way to attract people. I’ve knew this even before the interview thou. I just wanted to give it a try.
3rd interview: Negotiator at CIMB. I cancelled the interview coz the salary was based on individual target so I assumed that it was just like sales.

Sunway Pryamid & dinner buffet.

THIS POST IS THE RESULTS OF MY SCATTERED MIND TALKING.

Last week I had a buka gathering with my ex-unimates at Sunway Pyramid. It was fun. However, since I didn’t how to get there from Wangsa Maju, I met Fafa & followed her car. Earlier that day, I had asked my sis-in law for road direction but the problem was: I DUNNO any of the signs / roads she mentioned…even federal highway. That’s so lame..LOL..

Then my dad told me to use MRR2 which I was very familiar with & meet Fafa at R&R Awan Besar. Apabila sampai di Shell Awan Besar seperti yg dirancang, aku ternampak keta Kelisa oren macam keta Fafa di depanku. Aku ingat tulah Fafa, aku pun ikut keta itu dgn rapat & kemudian parking di sebelahnye iaitu di hadapan tandas lelaki, menghadap pintu yg terbuka luas. Tibe2 seorg lelaki yg tidak aku kenali keluar dari kereta Kelisa tersebut & memandang aku dgn perasaan curiga bercampur risau … haha… Aku dgn x berape segan, terus mengeluarkan keta aku dr kotak parking, tiba2 ade org horn. Keta MyVi baru berwarna merah yg cantik dgn Fafa di dlmnye. Hahaha… aku merasakan diriku sengal… (ape maksud sengal yg sebenarnye? Aku terikut org ckap. Mcm perkataan poyo yg pernah aku guna kat sekolah dulu walaupun x tau maknanye yg sahih..

Fafa & I went shopping at JJ as we arrived at Sunway Pyramid. I loved it. I bought a t-shirt & pants. We ate buka at Hartz with Huda S, Huda R, Za, Najm & Comel. I 1stly thought the buffet costs rm78/head so I keep on eating as much as I can & tried to make my stomach explode. Rupenye rm26..Tapi tauke tu x ruginye ssb aku banyak makan buah-buahan je..

Lepas makan, kitorg g tengok Final Destination 3D…haha, first time for me. Nice. Tapi aku terpaksa pakai double specs la, so jd sgt x selesa…

Masa nak balik, aku sesat nak cari keta kat parking. I blame myself! Lame giler, sedangkan aku parking betul2x depan entrance level tu.. Pak guards yang sgt baik hati tolong carikan keta. Fafa, Huda, Za & Huda R tunggu aku kat keta diorg & tak nak blk walaupun aku dah suruh. (aku ingtkan diorg dh keluar..rupenye still kat parking tunggu aku lama2 tu. Thx so much!). Yg x boleh blah, I told the guard that my car no. is WNN 4884 which is wrong! Actually it’s WPG 4884…teruk giler, terconfius ngn keta mak. Aku rupenye parking kat L2...bukan L1, biasanye aku tulis tapi hari tu aku xtulis aku ingt aku blh hafal... huhu..Pastu aku berkali-kali berterima kasih pada pak guard & doakan mereka panjang umur, bahagia dunia akhirat & murah rezeki...

That day I really had fun & realized how grateful I should be to have frens like them… I’m really grateful ;)

Food Paradise really got me!

Not too long ago, I happened to watch Food Paradise on Travel Channel for the first time & it was AWESOME! (hehe, terasa diri sgt la jakun..tp x kesah la ;) That episode was about Burger, the reason why my lil sis & I made our own Burgers that night, took some pics, & post it on blog.hehe..excited giler. So recently, I watched Food Paradise-Ice cream. I've always loved ice cream & that show made me craved for it! It showed some of the best Ice cream paradises in the US. Great indeed... There were like 7 ice cream paradises that have great ice creams, unique identities ranging from old classic to modern style to cartoon to high class to....hihi, that's enuf..

Some even act like "Willy Wonka 'ice cream' factory"...hehe.. like Ben & Jerry’s (not really willy wonka but they do have great, cute, cartoon like shop/factory). The funniest thing is that Ben & Jerry’s even have their old recipes (which no longer in-use) buried at Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cemetery. When they feel like wanna use the recipes again, they’ll dig back the recipe so it’s like a zombi ice cream. However, after a week or so the recipe will go back into the grave (I dun think they really bury the recipes...they just put the tombs & took them off when the recipes are in-use, OF COURSE...;p). Yeah, crazy ideas do attract lotsa people & tourist, indeed....

I wonder how much cost did it take to produce such a great program...& more importantly, how much they made out of it. Ting ting ting...$$$$$$$$....hehe... I shud learn bout show business, just to gain knowledge. So go to these websites as they have lotsa interesting things you can see. Ben& Jerry’s website even have cute games that you can play.

My Convo & H1N1

It has been quite some times since my last post. Eventhough my convocation took place on 15th Aug 2009 (yeah2x..last month) I still wanna talk about it. WHY?
This is why:-

We were initially told to wear mask while on stage receiving our scroll but thanks to Sultanah, she said we dun have to. Other wise, our pics on stage will be like the one above.

SUMMARY OF MY JOURNEY TO UTM

I went to UTM, Skudai on August 13, 2009 to settle a few things such as taking the convo robe, go to CEPP to discuss about the PhD and job offer (which I finally declined due to the time frame to do the PhD with the amount of salary (rm1500) that I couldn't bear myself to have for the next 3years)& still I would have to pay the study fees myself...

However the main reasons are bcoz I don't think I can survive live alone in Johor, far from my family, frens & love one for such a long time...Plus, I'm not planning on doing PhD at this moment, I would rather do a second degree in other field of study.

Still, I'm very grateful & thankful to the people at CEPP for considering my job application & gave me the opportunity to work with them& do PhD. They are really nice indeed..

I HAD FEVER & STRANDED IN JOHOR FOR A WEEK.
I wore mask & didn't spend much time lingering around the convo site but I still had fever later which was believed due to the hot weather. Feizal (my love,hehe ;) didn't allow me to go back KL alone plus I was too weak to drive so I had to wait for him. I stayed at Umu's room before moved to Melah's house. I stranded in Johor for a week, sick & weak. Syukur alhamdulillah dah baik demam masa sampai umah.
P/S: Biggest thank you to Feizal, Umu, Melah & frens... My Allah bless them.

Hanson is great, indeed & they got better as they got older... cuter also.. Oh, how I love Taylor... always with his long blond hair... Isaac is a great song writer and as u can see, he's very handsome now...so does Zac ( i just cant believe that he's actually a year older than I am!) Now they are all happily married with children..hehe..

Started off with "Middle of Nowhere" in 1997, Hanson which initially known as The Hanson Brothers managed to win lotsa awards through the infamous "MmmBop" and other songs such as "I will be there". Now, Hanson still continue their musics & created their own recording company named 3CG which stands for Three Car Garage.

They did "The Walk" in 2007 which is basically an activity that combined walk & talk (It's like a charity call, they walk and spread the words of peace to people they met, also to promote their new album with a song for aids child victims in africa). Yeah...they are great, they made my heart melt...yes, indeed!

I also love "This time around- Letterbox" which is the above song, "If Only", "Where's the love" and many more... I really hope they will come out with new great songs any sooner. It'd be great & I will support them! hehe..

My own book reviews

On 31st July 2009, I went to the career fair held at Mid Valley alone. Too bad it wasn't anything as I expected... but still, it was fine..(thank god I bumped into Nina & Rai). I went to MPH after all the job seeking, resumes drop-in & lunch with the girls. It was then when I saw this book that I've always wanted to read but never had the time, money/ chance to... (or it just a matter of keep throwing excuses..)

The book entitled "Does my head look big in this?".
The book is as strong and brave as the title is. Usually when I read a book, I will have an "A'ah moment" (often a few times) which tells me that something is just not right... it can be either because of the ridiculous/ preposterous story line, the stupid conversations or anything else... However to my suprise, I did not have an ""A'ah moment" while reading this book... I may had only read 1/3 of the book during the 40 minutes spent at MPH, but I really think that is enough to tell me how gud the book is... (I would be sorry if it's actually not..haha)

Since I'm now a "full-timer nanny/ maid" at home, I forced myself to read some books so my brain will stay healthy & I wont be senile so soon... hahaha... At this moment, I prefer to read the "easy & light teenage books" that needs no much thinking but jokes and fun all the way.

My fave is " Dear dumb diary".. ( it's not even written for teenager...it's for kids...) It's so funny I lmao! hahhaa.. (I finally know what lmao means...laugh my ass off). "The baby sitting wars" is not so bad also...but i bet it's written for 6-12-year-old though..lol.. It's late already...I'm heading to bed...till next time! Muah!
